This past weekend was gorgeous.  It snowed most of the day on Saturday.  We got to play in the snow and enjoy watching it fall.  Saturday evening we went to Christmas Village http://www.koziarschristmasvillage.com/ .  It had been snowing all afternoon, and was snowing most of the time we were there.  It was so beautiful.   The kids had a good time.  Jonathan even invited his girlfriend, Jenny, to come along.

I've seen a lot of light displays before, but nothing could top this one - especially not on a snowy night.

  1. Oooohhh Connie the snow looks great.... we are sweltering here... and I confess that I much prefer the heat to the cold!! But some days.... I am so in love with the Amish... it must be great to see them in their own surroundings. Have you seen any of their quilts? Some have little shops in their homes, I'm told??
    Rainbow smiles... Gloria

  2. That reminds me of Coleman's Nursery which was about 45 minutes from where I live. They used to have wonderful outdoor and indoor Christmas Displays, Santa, decorations to purchase, Hot Apple Cider, etc...they retired, sold the property...display items were sold. Most were given to an organization and now on display in a building in Portsmouth, VA. We went a couple years ago but it was just not the same. Only good thing was they had restored the animated figures and they were pristine.
